Data Center Logistics Tech

Our client is hiring experienced Logistics Technicians to assist with inventory management and shipping and receiving of server and computer hardware. Applicants with 1-2 years of shipping and receiving experience are encouraged to apply. This role will involve managing and transporting technical hardware in a data center environment.Responsibilities*Manually, or using a hand truck, performs various material handling duties in the facility* Prepares items for transport within data center*Load and unload goods onto trucks as needed*Verify, inspect, and enter the receipt of an incoming shipment*Pull and prepare stock items accurately, verifying identifying information and quantities* Work to continuously improve all data center functionsQualifications*1-2 years of previous warehouse or shipping/receving experience required*General knowledge of receiving procedures*Some Knowledge of PC and business enterprise software*Able to work as a team or independently*Inventory experience*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of West Des Moines, IA.*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
