SummaryThe Director of Project Management is a key leadership role within Chobani's Global Engineering and Project Management team, responsible for overseeing the execution of strategic capital projects within Chobani's Global Supply Chain manufacturing facilities. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and align with business objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in project management within manufacturing environments and excels in cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
This position requires an experienced leader capable of directing multiple projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and maintaining adherence to project timelines and financial targets. The role reports to the Sr. Director of Engineering and Project Management.
ResponsibilitiesLead Capital Strategic Planning initiatives, collaborating with the Sr. Director to develop and track short- and long-term capital projects aligned with company goals
Ensure proper coordination of work between project teams, subcontractors, and clients
Maintain strict adherence to budgetary constraints and ensure projects meet financial objectives
Identify risks within projects and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns
Partner with internal plant teams to implement process improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency
Ensure that all project activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies
Oversee resource planning and project staffing to ensure optimal utilization of personnel
Develop and implement standardized project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Serve as Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) for select high-impact projects
Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success
Ensure clear and consistent communication of project status to all stakeholders
Conduct regular project reviews, summarizing progress, challenges, and next steps for senior management
Implement and oversee project risk assessment and contingency planningRequirements15+ years of experience in Manufacturing and Process Technologies, preferably within the Food & Beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
10+ years of project management experience, including overseeing timelines, budgets, and risk analysis
7+ years of managerial and leadership experience, with a focus on leading project management teams
Bachelor's or master's degree in project management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project; experience with SAP and CAD software (SolidWorks) is a plus
Strong knowledge of capital project planning and execution within manufacturing environments
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex project challenges
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment while maintaining strategic focus
Willingness and ability to travel as needed

Compensation Range: $144,000.00-$216,000.00, plus bonus.
