Linux Engineer

Job DescriptionECS Federal is seeking a Linux Engineer to work out of our Fairfax, VA and/or Springfield, VA office supporting our government customer.This position will require experience building and troubleshooting Linux Systems as well as integrating containerized technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience with Kubernetes as well as 4+ years working on RHEL. Experience working with multicast video is beneficial. The candidate will work with a cross functional team of other Linux Systems Engineers, Project Managers, and Software Developers to build, assess, and deploy a variety of software and hardware products globally.The Linux Engineer should have prior experience in designing/architecting enterprise scale systems incorporating a variety of components (COTS, GOTS, & open source) and supporting integration efforts. This individual performs in a multidisciplinary team environment with tight deadlines.
