From initial feasibility and financial modeling through engineering, construction, and commissioning, PowerStack manages the entire project lifecycle to deliver financeable, executable energy infrastructure.As a veteran-led company, we combine expertise in development, execution, and supply chain management to solve complex energy challenges with speed, discipline, and an owner's mindset.Learn more at www.PowerStackGrids.comPosition SummaryPowerStack is seeking a Project Developer to lead the technical and commercial development of onsite energy infrastructure projects from initial customer engagement through contract execution.Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Construction, this role is responsible for evaluating project feasibility, developing technical and financial solutions, coordinating utility and permitting activities, and supporting customers through the development process.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead the development of commercial and industrial solar, battery energy storage (BESS), and microgrid projects from qualification through financial close.Evaluate project feasibility, energy production, utility interconnection, permitting requirements, and project economics.Develop technical and financial models supporting customer ownership, PPAs, ESAs, and other commercial structures.Coordinate engineering, utility, permitting, and third-party development activities.Support customer presentations, proposal development, and commercial negotiations.Monitor emerging technologies, utility programs, and incentive opportunities to improve project economics and customer solutions.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Construction Management, Finance, or related discipline.3–7 years of commercial or industrial solar project development experience.Experience developing Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.Strong analytical, financial modeling, project management, and communication skills.PreferredExperience with:Commercial & industrial solar and storageMicrogrids and distributed energy resourcesUtility interconnection and incentive programsPPAs, ESAs, and project financeAurora, HelioScope, PVsyst, SAM, Energy Toolbase, HOMER, or similar modeling platformsAutoCAD, Bluebeam, ArcGIS, Advanced Excel, and CRM softwareKey CompetenciesProject developmentEnergy and financial modelingTechnical problem solvingUtility coordinationCommercial acumenCustomer communicationCross-functional collaborationPerformance MeasuresSuccess will be measured by:Projects advanced through key development milestonesQuality and accuracy of technical and financial analysesCustomer satisfactionUtility and permitting progressSuccessful transition of projects into engineering and construction
