Our deep industry experience and expertise in the legislation governing these incentives have helped businesses claim billions of dollars in tax credits and incentives.Job SummarySource Advisors is building SourceHub, a modern workflow and client-facing platform that supports tax credit consulting, project management, operational delivery, internal production teams, sales and account data, client and CPA partner visibility, workflow automation, integrations, and AI-enabled product capabilities.The Senior Full-Stack Developer is a senior individual contributor who will own full-stack features and modules across frontend, backend, database design, APIs, integrations, and product implementation. This person will work from product direction, PRDs, design concepts, and business context to shape and deliver practical V1 features while improving technical design, implementation quality, and cross-functional collaboration.The ideal candidate combines strong technical judgment with balanced full-stack capability and uses AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully to accelerate delivery while retaining ownership of code, design, testing, security, and quality.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and own SourceHub features and modules end-to-end across backend and frontend.Design database schemas, relationships, APIs, workflow logic, and maintainable application architecture.Implement polished, production-quality application screens from product and design direction.Translate PRDs, workflow notes, design concepts, and business context into practical implementation plans and working software.Collaborate with product, design, developers, and engineering leadership on implementation approaches, assumptions, and tradeoffs.Identify technical risks, edge cases, failure states, and data or workflow implications early in delivery.Build integrations, background processes, and workflow automation with appropriate retry, idempotency, and failure-handling patterns.Use AI-assisted development tools to improve speed and quality while carefully reviewing and verifying generated work.Test and self-review work before handoff; debug performance, data, integration, and usability issues.Communicate progress, risks, and design decisions clearly and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers when appropriate.Required QualificationsSenior-level full-stack experience with balanced backend and frontend capability and ownership of complete features from design through delivery.Strong relational data modeling, database migration, API design, authentication, authorization, security, and application architecture fundamentals.Experience with async or background processing, queues or events, external integrations, retries, idempotency, partial failures, testing, and debugging.Strong frontend implementation skills using React- or Next.js-style patterns and TypeScript, including forms, state, tables, filters, and loading, empty, and error states.Ability to work from imperfect or evolving requirements, ask useful questions, shape a practical V1 or MVP, and explain assumptions and tradeoffs.Active, responsible use of AI-assisted development tools with a clear approach to reviewing, testing, and verifying generated code.Collaborative, respectful, pragmatic communication and strong self-review habits, with the ability to guide less-experienced developers when needed.Preferred QualificationsBackend experience with Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy or a comparable ORM, and PostgreSQL or a similar relational database.Frontend experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern component-based application development.Cloud experience with Azure or AWS and message technologies such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or similar platforms.Experience with SaaS, multi-user enterprise, workflow-heavy, data-heavy, fintech, tax technology, compliance, accounting, ERP, CRM, or professional-services platforms.AI-enabled product development and familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, Toggl, tax, or accounting workflows are helpful but not required.Work Environment & TechnologyContractor engagement with a remote or hybrid working arrangement.Fast-moving, cross-functional product environment where priorities and requirements may evolve.Technology may include Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, React, Next.js, TypeScript, Azure or AWS, message queues, third-party APIs, background processing, and tools such as Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.Success FactorsConsistently deliver useful, reliable, reasonably bug-free features across the full stack.Balance delivery speed, maintainability, product value, and appropriate V1 scope with sound technical judgment.Operate independently from product intent and incomplete requirements while communicating decisions and challenges respectfully.Use AI as an accelerator while retaining ownership of architecture, code, testing, security, and quality and building trust across teams.Job Description DisclaimerThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
