Non-CDL Line Haul Driver (Portland)

Line Haul Driver We are looking for motivated people to come work for a growing international delivery company in the Portland area. Over the past 18 months we have experienced amazing growth, there is a new way of doing business and that is online and shopping online, this trend is here to stay! This will be a full time position Monday through Friday. Our schedule is day shift - Monday - Friday Key Responsibilities: Safely load and unload packages out of a box truck. Safely driving company vehicle: Climb in and out of box truck multiple times while loading and unloading packages Ability to stand multiple hours a day and work in a physically demanding environment Work with support team to provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns Ability to function calmly and efficiently in high-pressure, multi-tasking environment Deliver packages in variable locations and stops Follow local and state driving laws and road regulations Operate scanner to record shipping and package information Maintain good work habits, including reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work and safety procedures You must meet the following job requirements listed below in order to be qualified to work for as a driver: 21 years of age or older Authorized to work in the United States Must be able to speak and read English Must be flexible with work schedule including weekends - due to business needs Must have knowledge of state driving laws Must successfully pass background checks and drug screening Must have clean driving record (no more than 2 speeding tickets within the last 3 years and no more than one at fault accident) Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 70lbs most of the packages are between 1- 20lbs Must be able to handle stressful workload and driving demands Must be able to walk, climb stairs, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch repeatedly during work shift.
