Supply Specialist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain process, ensuring that materials and products are efficiently sourced, stored, and distributed. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of warehouse management and supplier relations. The Supply Specialist will work closely with various departments to optimize inventory levels and support our e-commerce operations. Responsibilities Analyze inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure optimal stock availability. Manage supplier relationships to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards. Utilize Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to track inventory and streamline procurement processes. Oversee warehouse management practices to maintain an organized and efficient storage environment. Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers for timely distribution of products. Implement best practices in materials management to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Monitor industry trends using tools such as Nielsen data to inform supply chain decisions. Operate forklifts safely for the movement of materials within the warehouse as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in supply chain management or a related field. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and their impact on supply chain operations. Experience in supplier management, including negotiation and relationship-building skills. Knowledge of MRP systems and warehouse management software. Understanding of materials management principles and practices. Experience with Nielsen data analysis is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts; certification is preferred but not required. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
