AGENT ONBOARDING & ACTIVATION SPECIALIST

We have a growing network of independent insurance agents who signed up to work with us. Your job is to make sure they actually do.You'll be the friendly, knowledgeable first voice agents hear after getting appointed - the person who walks them through our systems, shows them the ropes, and makes placing business with Normandy feel effortless.ABOUT NORMANDYNormandy Insurance is a workers' compensation carrier and wholesale brokerage offering 14+ commercial lines through 30+ admitted and E&S carriers across 30+ states. We're growing fast, appointing new agents at a record pace, and building something special in a space that hasn't seen enough innovation. This role is a big part of what comes next.WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO- Call newly appointed agents within 48 hours to welcome them, walk them through portal access, and make sure they can log in and navigate our online quoting system- Give brief, practical demos of our quoting tools, submission process, and available resources - tailored to what each agent actually writes- Follow up within the first week to check in, answer questions, and help them get their first submission across the finish line- Identify what lines of business each agent focuses on and connect the dots to Normandy's full product suite - workers' comp, GL, BOP, cyber, and beyond- Track agent activation metrics: who's logged in, who's quoted, who's bound - and follow up with those who haven't- Flag common pain points and friction in the onboarding experience so we can continuously improve it- Maintain detailed notes in our CRM so every interaction is documented and the team has full visibility- Serve as an ongoing resource for agents during their critical first 90 days with NormandyWHY THIS ROLE MATTERSWe invest real time and money acquiring and appointing new agents. But an appointment without activation is just a piece of paper. You're the person who turns an appointment into a producing relationship — and that directly drives premium growth for the entire company. This isn't a support role that sits in the background. You're on the front line of our growth engine.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORMust Have:- 2+ years in customer success, account management, client onboarding, or inside sales- Exceptional phone presence - warm, patient, and clear, even explaining tech to someone who hates tech- Organized and self-directed; you don't need someone watching over your shoulder to follow up on time- Comfort with CRM systems, screen-sharing tools, and learning new platforms quicklyNice to Have:- Insurance industry experience - especially commercial lines, wholesale, or workers' compensation- P&C license (or willingness to obtain one)- Experience working with independent insurance agents or agency principals- Bilingual English/SpanishTHE KIND OF PERSON WHO THRIVES HEREYou're the type who follows up without being asked.
