Our technology-first mindset powers systems from SCADA to cloud-and everything in between.About The PositionThe Project Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of project execution, from budgeting to forecasting, cost control, revenue recognition, risk management and compliance. This role is a key liaison between Project Management, Finance and other departments to ensure accurate financial tracking, reporting and governance across the project lifecycle.What You'll DoBudgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain project budgets, update forecasts, and manage cash flow projectionsCost Control & Analysis: Track project costs, analyze variances, and support corrective action plansProject Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain performance dashboards and prepare periodic project financial reportsContract: Ensure contract terms are adhered to regarding financial reporting, milestones, liquidated damages and billing. Support claims preparation and claims resolutionRisk & Change Management: Assess financial impacts of project changes and integrate approved adjustments into forecasts and billingCompliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to corporate, audit, and accounting standards (SOX, GAAP)Customer Billing & Invoicing: Oversee accurate and timely billing aligned with contract terms; support AR in resolving issuesMonth End Close: Finalize project margin and accruals; ensure accurate revenue recognition based on Percentage of Completion (POC)Oversight: Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, contracts all in line with budget and proper cost allocation. Manage warranties and spare parts, including tracking, coordination, documentation, and timely resolution of warranty-related actionsQualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field5-7 years of project-controls experience in construction, EPC or long term service projects in energy storage industry or similarStrong proficiency with NetSuite, Procore, and advanced ExcelProven ability to communicate complex ideas simply and drive proactive process improvementsTakes initiative and contributes actively to a fast-growing, results-driven team
