Cook Supervisor

The Cook Supervisor position includes the following but is not limited to:Leading staff with proper communication skills and composureHandle a 50-55 hour work week with open availabilityMaintain a clean and organized work environmentEstablish, enforce and maintain all standards of service, sanitation and state complianceHands on supervision of preparation for PM service periodsFocus on safety, quality, consistency, organizationMaintain standards of quality, costs, eye appeal and overall flavorAbility to assume complete control of the kitchen in the absence of managerEnsure proper staffing for maximum productivity in high volume restaurant to enable maximum profitabilityCommunicate with Manager on supervision and development of employees ensuring they maintain a productive and positive attitudeResponsible for knowing all aspects of the culinary operationIdeal candidate will possess:Prior restaurant experience (minimum 2 years)A passion for giving true hospitality (both to guests and staff members)Critical problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, team playerPunctual, adaptable, passionateA keen ability and desire for team developmentA "do-whatever it takes" attitudeThe ability to pivot quickly and be adaptable in all situationsStrong leadership skillsThe desire for continued learningJob Duties:Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely mannerFollow recipes and presentation specificationsOperate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficientlyClean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitationAssist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipmentRestock items as needed throughout the shiftAdhere to all sanitation and food production codesJ-18808-Ljbffr
