Elementary Teacher (1st Grade) for the School Year

Classroom Teacher Engadine Consolidated Schools is looking to hire an elementary teacher (1st grade), starting with the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher shall serve as the educational leader in his/her classroom. The district is located in western Mackinac County in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We are a small school district with a K-12 population of approximately 260 students. The duties include planning, preparing, and delivering lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning. The teacher will also instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment. Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction. The teacher will maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development. A bachelor's degree or higher in education, elementary certification, and a valid Michigan teaching certificate are required. Previous classroom teaching experience in a comparable district is preferred.
