The Mundy Companies, a Leader In The Industrial Maintenance, Services, And Construction Fields, Is Currently Hiring The Following For a Long-term Position In The Pasadena, Texas AreaWAREHOUSE MANAGER Experience needed: SAP, Stores Management, Forklift OperationPosition SummaryThe Warehouse Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure safety, compliance, accuracy, cleanliness, and uninterrupted material flow to support production requirements.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesEnsure all warehouse policies, procedures, and work instructions are consistently followedEnforce all safety rules and ensure employees work in a safe manner at all times, including proper use of PPEConduct daily toolbox meetings to review safety topics, job hazards, and operational expectations, ensuring proper employee participation and sign-offAssist with and ensure all employees actively participate in the Mundy Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) programVerify that all employees accurately sign in and sign out on the designated sign-in sheet and complete time sheets correctly and on timeRun and review the IP report in SAP to ensure adequate material availability for bale hog operationsMonitor scrap material accumulation and coordinate outbound shipments when full loads are achievedMonitor plastic bale inventory and schedule shipments once full loads are accumulatedConduct daily warehouse audits to identify and correct broken cans, mis-binned material, and mislabeled inventoryPerform daily inspections of the back pad to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper material storageOversee plastic waste management and maintain overall warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standardsCommunicate operational issues, safety concerns, and material shortages to supervision in a timely mannerQualifications And ExpectationsStrong understanding of warehouse operations and material handling practicesKnowledge of SAP or ability to be trainedDemonstrated ability to lead by example and enforce company policiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentThe successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time. This positions requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required.
