Job Title: Senior SQL Server DBALocation: Omaha, NE – 100% OnsiteExperience: 10+ YearsJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Server DBA with 10+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, PowerShell scripting, and Windows Server troubleshooting.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, monitor, and maintain enterprise SQL Server environments.Perform query tuning, index optimization, and wait statistics analysis.Manage and troubleshoot SQL Server Always On Availability Groups.Design, implement, and support disaster recovery strategies and orchestration.Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for database administration and automation.Troubleshoot complex SQL Server and Windows Server issues.Monitor database performance, availability, and system health.Tune monitoring and alerting processes to improve operational efficiency.Support regulatory and security compliance requirements, including SOX and CIS.Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality database deliverables.Mentor junior DBAs/developers and provide technical guidance.Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and development teams to resolve production issues.Follow Agile methodologies and contribute to continuous process improvement.Required Skills10+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.Expert-level SQL Server administration skills.Strong PowerShell scripting experience.Expert Windows Server troubleshooting.Strong experience with SQL query and index tuning.Hands-on experience with Always On Availability Groups.Strong knowledge of SQL Server Disaster Recovery.Experience analyzing SQL Server wait statistics.Experience working with SOX, CIS, or similar regulatory/security compliance requirements.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience with code reviews and mentoring junior team members.Preferred SkillsSCOM experience.SCCM experience.Monitoring and alerting optimization.Tableau or other data analytics tools.Experience working in Agile environments.Work Arrangement100% Onsite in Omaha, NE.Candidates must be comfortable working onsite and supporting enterprise production environments.
