We have opening for a software development team lead to provide our service to Banking, Entertainment, and Financial Services clients. Responsibilities Responsible for the whole life cycle of project development, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, implementation and production support. Lead technical teams through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle by working closely with managers and other key members of the software development team in order to deliver high quality code during design, development and project deployment. Participate in business user meetings to gather requirements, and prepare use case scenarios. Perform software design, development, and testing. Define and gather functional requirements for end users. Provide on-going application support to end-users. Produce standard project documentation as specified by client. Participate in code walk-through. Work on cross-functional teams in conjunction with client managers and technical architects while communicating issues, providing estimates and developing creative solutions to address technical challenges. Work in a collaborative environment to develop applications with a strong focus on Java/J2EE design patterns, Oracle PL/SQL, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Hadoop, HIVE, in order to facilitate database design, back-end architectural patterns and front-end development techniques. Work closely with database architect on database design. Lead and collaborate with Cosatech offshore development team on client projects. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related) plus 5 years of progressively-responsible software development experience with at least 5 years of experience in Java, J2EE, Oracle, PL/SQL, ASP .Net, Web Methods web services and AWK shell scripting. As equivalent, employer will accept a Master's degree (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related) plus 3 years of progressively-responsible software development experience with at least 3 years of experience in Java, J2EE, Oracle, PL/SQL, ASP .Net, Web Methods web services and AWK shell scripting.
