From onboarding and implementation to ongoing optimization and strategic guidance, our team works as an extension of our clients', helping them remove friction, reduce risk, and expand into new markets with confidence.About The RoleThis role focuses on building and evolving a platform system across backend services and frontend applications using .NET and modern web technologies.The position contributes to the reliability and maintainability of the system while supporting the introduction of new functionality and improvements to development practices.The role involves working within a large and established codebase, delivering improvements and new features across both frontend and backend layers while preserving the stability of the production platform.Success in this role requires a sense of ownership, solid technical judgment, and the ability to balance ongoing development with incremental improvements.Your backgroundStrong professional experience building backend systems with C# and modern .NETProven experience developing production-grade frontend applications with React and TypeScriptDeep understanding of API design and evolution (REST and/or GraphQL), including performance and versioning concernsSolid grasp of software architecture and ability to navigate and improve large, existing codebasesExperience operating systems in production, including monitoring, debugging, and incident resolutionFamiliarity with modern development practices (Git workflows, CI/CD, automated testing)Experience with AWS and distributed systems at scaleNice to haveInfrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform)Track record of improving performance or reliability in production systemsYour responsibilitiesOwn the design and evolution of backend services and frontend applications across the platformDeliver high-quality features end-to-end, from design to production, in a complex, business-critical systemDesign and evolve APIs (REST and GraphQL) with a focus on consistency, scalability, and long-term maintainabilityMake pragmatic trade-offs to balance new feature delivery with system stability and technical debt reductionImprove system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in a cloud-based environmentDiagnose and resolve production issues, driving root-cause fixes rather than temporary patchesRaise the engineering bar through code reviews, refactoring, and improvements to development practicesWork closely with Product to shape solutions, not just implement requirementsKey competenciesStrong ownership mindset: you take responsibility for outcomes, not just codeSound technical judgment and ability to make trade-offs in ambiguous situationsAbility to simplify complex systems and drive pragmatic improvements over timeClear and direct communication, especially around risks, trade-offs, and constraintsHigh standards for code quality, maintainability, and system reliabilityCollaborative but opinionated: you challenge ideas constructively and contribute to better decisions
