Located in Sacramento, CA, we are looking for skilled technicians who are passionate about diesel engines and eager to make a difference in the automotive industry.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect diesel engines and related systems to identify issuesPerform routine maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, etc.)Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system problemsRepair or replace defective components such as brakes, transmissions, steering systems, and exhaust systemsUse diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot engine performance issuesTest vehicles and equipment to ensure proper operation after repairsPerform DOT (Department of Transportation) inspections and ensure vehicles meet federal and state safety regulationsMaintain accurate service records and documentationFollow safety procedures and environmental regulationsCommunicate with supervisors or customers about repair needs and timelinesRequired Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, and electrical systemsAbility to use diagnostic equipment and repair toolsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsPhysical stamina and ability to lift heavy partsBasic computer skills for diagnostics and reportingGood communication and teamwork abilitiesMust provide and maintain a personal set of tools required to perform job dutiesEducation & ExperienceMinimum 2 years experience working on heavy diesel equipment, trucks, or equivalent experience.
