Overview:Job Title: HVAC TechnicianShift: 1st shift (Morning)Location: Valdosta, GeorgiaPay Rate: $32/hr. to $39/hr.Important Note: EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification requiredJob Description:The HVAC Technician II is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, and sewage systems. This hands-on role requires technical expertise and a proactive approach to facility maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and adjust refrigeration and HVAC systems for optimal efficiencyInspect, maintain, and repair plumbing and sewage systemsWeld, fabricate, and read blueprints for installationsHandle water and sewage treatment with chemical applicationsMaintain equipment and respond to after-hours service callsComply with safety, food safety, and GMP standardsQualifications:High School Diploma or GED2-4 years' experience in HVAC/refrigeration (commercial)Familiarity with systems like compressed air, boilers, industrial refrigeration, etc.Basic welding skillsEPA Refrigerant Handling Certification requiredSkills Needed:Ability to read and follow work instructionsBasic math and measurement skillsSound reasoning and problem-solving abilityPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform manual laborSkills and Certifications [note-: bold skills and certification are required]EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification2-4 years' experience in HVAC/refrigeration (commercial)Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing and sewage systems Weld, fabricate, and read blueprintsSkills:
