Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Direct Support Professional located in Cottage Grove, MN. The role involves providing direct care and assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities in their daily living activities. Responsibilities include supporting clients in achieving their personal goals, offering companionship, facilitating participation in community activities, and promoting independent living skills. The Direct Support Professional will also help implement care plans and provide necessary training to help clients thrive in their environment. Qualifications Proven experience or background in Human Services or working with individuals who have Intellectual DisabilitiesStrong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilitiesExperience and commitment to providing Training and skill development for individualsPassion for providing compassionate care and supporting the independence of individualsAbility to work collaboratively with a team while maintaining professionalismHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in human services or related fields are a plus
