RESPONSIBILITIES: Create and implement plans to drive KPIs to maximize profitability Build the connection between customer and brand by providing superior service and adapting brand stories to the retail setting Drive brand loyalty by empowering team to create an outstanding customer experience Implement store operations and processes consistently Monitor back of house operations and processes to ensure efficiency and minimize shrink Collaborate with General Manager on store’s sales, payroll and operating budgets Daily opening and closing procedures, cash handling and loss prevention management Assure timely resolution to employee concerns and customer disputes Arrive on time and with a positive attitude each shift. Maintain respect for your peers, leadership team and customers. QUALIFICATIONS: Results driven – Inspires and motivates to exceed goals Knowledge of retail store systems Passion for the outdoors a plus Possesses a strong visual merchandising sense; knows the power of styling to drive customer satisfaction Leadership knowledge, skills & abilities: Ability to establish & maintain effective relationships with employees and customers Effectively prioritizes and provides focus for self and team, with appropriate attention to detail Effective Communicator (verbal and written) – Clearly articulates point-of-view, adapts communication style to audience, listens and asks questions to solicit feedback, and disseminates information effectively Experience/Physical Requirements: 2 years retail management experience Strong emphasis in customer service industry or field leadership Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights, weekends and Holidays Ability to travel as required Ability to lift and carry 40lbs Ability to maneuver around sales floor, back room and office areas as well as work around cleaning chemicals Benefits: 401k with matching Competitive compensation Employee discounts on KÜHL products An equal opportunity employer, KÜHL® does not discriminate in hiring or terms and conditions of employment because of an individual's race, color, religion, gender, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, sexual orientation or marital status.
