Exciting Opportunity for a Cath Lab Tech Job Description: - Join a premier STEMI and Stroke receiving center with 4 state-of-the-art labs! - Shifts: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00) - Experience Required: - Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in the Cath Lab. - Community hospital experience preferred. - Certifications Required: - BLS - ACLS - ARRT (will accept RCIS) - Fluoroscopy Permit - State licensure - Preferred Certifications: - CCI RCES* - CCI RCIS - CET* - Skills and Knowledge: - Proficiency in cardiac cath lab procedures and techniques including: - Diagnostic and interventional procedures - Hemodynamic monitoring - PCI and PTCA - Temporary pacemaker insertion and more! - Experience with neurological studies/procedures like: - Carotid angiography - Thrombolysis/thrombectomy - Coil embolization/ablations - Daily Responsibilities: - Perform EKG lead placement and accurate monitoring. - Prepare access site and set up equipment. - Serve as room circulator and maintain a sterile field. - Float and Call Requirements: - Yes, flexibility to float between specialties in the lab. - On-call required: M-F and rotating weekend shifts (3 weekends every 6-week schedule). - Patient Age Groups: - Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics. - Daily Census: - 6-8 patients. - Interdisciplinary Collaboration: - Work with respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. - Unit Highlights: - Support for cardiac, electrophysiology, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology procedures. - Engage in advanced procedures such as TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip, and more.
