Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion/Leadership Intern

We're actively seeking to hire for an unpaid internship in the DEI/Leadership unit here at Central Michigan University Athletics!Responsibilities:Assist the Athletics Department's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee to position CMU as a leader in the Mid-American Conference.Will be tasked with researching other institution's programming and develop a plan for CMU. Will require collaboration with CMU's Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Leadership Institute.Assist the external team with the creation, review, and implementation of an Athletics Impact Study within our community.The initial framework for next steps will be provided, but this individual will lead this project with assistance from athletics department staff members.Will involve interactions with local community and university members to highlight the impact that CMU Athletics provides from an exposure, footprint, and experience standpoint.
