We are committed to safety, operational excellence, and delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions.As an ESOP organization, our employees share directly in the company's success and play a key role in supporting efficient and safe project execution.Position OverviewThe Traffic Control Yard Technician is responsible for ensuring traffic control crews are properly equipped and ready for safe and efficient deployment to job sites.This role supports daily yard operations, including inventory management, equipment readiness, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The position is critical to ensuring field teams operate efficiently and without delays.Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment & Inventory ManagementLoad and unload traffic control trucks with cones, barricades, signage, message boards, and related equipmentVerify all equipment is accounted for, functional, and ready for deploymentMaintain accurate inventory counts using checklists or digital systemsTrack equipment usage and support timely reordering of suppliesYard Operations & OrganizationClean, organize, and store traffic control equipment in designated yard areasEnsure materials are easily accessible for efficient loading and deploymentTag and document damaged or out-of-service equipment for repair or replacementAssist with light maintenance and repairs of equipment and toolsSafety & ComplianceFollow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies and proceduresWear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all timesMaintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environmentReport unsafe conditions and participate in safety meetings and job hazard assessmentsOperational SupportSupport traffic control crews with preparation, loading, and job-specific setup needsAssist with organizing and staging equipment for upcoming projectsContribute to efficient turnaround times for truck loading and unloadingWhat Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role is typically demonstrated by:Accurate and reliable inventory managementEfficient loading and unloading of equipment with minimal delaysWell-organized yard operations that support field productivityConsistent adherence to safety standards and proceduresProactive identification and resolution of equipment or inventory issuesWork EnvironmentYard-based role with outdoor work in varying weather conditionsPhysically active position involving lifting, loading, and organizing equipmentFast-paced environment supporting multiple project teamsEqual Opportunity EmployerViaSun Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected classification under applicable law.Accommodation StatementApplicants with disabilities may be entitled to reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act and applicable state laws.
