You'll step into a key position stabilizing and modernizing processes during a period of transition while building structure for future growth.What You'll OwnAccounting & FinanceFull ownership of month-end close, financial statements, and reportingMaintain GL, reconciliations, AP/AR, invoicing, and cash flowRoll up financials to parent company and support consolidated reportingIntroduce and build cost accounting structure (manufacturing environment)Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisPartner with external CPA on tax and auditPayroll & HRProcess payroll and handle payroll tax compliance (941s, withholdings, reporting)Administer benefits, PTO, and employee recordsHandle onboarding/offboarding and employee relationsAct as point of contact for HR-related mattersOperations / Office ManagementOversee day-to-day office operationsManage vendors and administrative functionsSupport plant leadership with reporting and projectsInitial exposure to logistics/trucking coordination (will phase down over time)What's Happening / Why OpenRecently acquired business undergoing transition and modernizationMoving from basic QuickBooks to QuickBooks Enterprise (cloud)Rebuilding chart of accounts and financial structureLong-term ERP implementation plannedHiring is a confidential upgrade to bring stronger structure and leadershipWhat They're Looking For5+ years full-cycle accounting / bookkeeping experienceManufacturing and/or cost accounting strongly preferredExperience handling payroll + HR responsibilitiesComfortable wearing multiple hats in a small, high-visibility environmentStrong Excel skills (pivots, reconciliations, reporting)Systems experience (QuickBooks or similar)Self-starter who can build structure and operate in ambiguityThe Bottom LineThis is a true #1 seat at the plant levelown the numbers, build the processes, and grow into a Controller-level role with the backing of a larger organization.
