Middle School Special Education Teacher (Internal Posting Only)
Special Education Teacher Nathan Hale-Ray Middle School is seeking a dynamic and student centered Special Education Teacher to join us starting in the 2026-2027 school year. This position works as part of a team to support students in grades 4-8 across inclusive and specialized learning environments. The ideal candidate will provide individualized, data driven instruction aligned to IEP goals, with a strong focus on developing students' reading, writing, and math skills through engaging, evidence based practices. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in progress monitoring, assessment, and implementing positive behavioral supports tailored to individual student needs. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs; collaborating closely with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families; and fostering meaningful student growth in both academic and social-emotional areas. Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and knowledge of ABA/DTI strategies are preferred.
