Assistant Controller

Company: Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. (MSI) Salary: $80,000 – $105,000 annually (based on experience) Overview Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. (MSI) is seeking an Assistant Controller to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role focused on day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting, supporting the Controller, with a strong preference for candidates who have manufacturing or cost accounting experience. Responsibilities Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations Maintain general ledger accuracy and support financial reporting Analyze inventory, job costing, and variances Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation Help maintain internal controls and improve accounting processes Partner with operations to ensure financial accuracy across departments Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3–7 years of accounting experience Manufacturing or cost accounting experience preferred Strong GAAP knowledge and Excel skills Experience with ERP/accounting systems Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Benefits and Perks 401(k) matching Health insurance Health savings account Employee assistance program Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Wellness program This is an on-site, Mon-Fri, position.
