Remote Inpatient Coder

We are hiring experienced Inpatient Coders to support a large-scale health system transition and internalization of Revenue Cycle operations. This is a high-impact opportunity supporting an Epic go-live environment with strong long-term potential. Responsibilities Perform inpatient coding for complex acute care cases using ICD-10-CM/PCS Assign accurate DRGs in compliance with coding guidelines Review clinical documentation to ensure coding accuracy and completeness Maintain productivity of ~2.0–2.5 charts/hour with ~95% accuracy Collaborate with CDI and QA teams to ensure documentation integrity Participate in team meetings and maintain alignment with team schedules Requirements CCS or RHIT certification REQUIRED 4–5+ years of inpatient coding experience (Coder III level preferred) Strong experience with high-acuity hospital cases Epic experience strongly preferred Experience in academic or teaching hospitals highly preferred Exposure to trauma or complex cases strongly preferred Preferred Experience Cardiovascular (high priority) NICU Interventional Radiology Orthopedics Neurology OB/Mother-Baby Pay: $25.93 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Application Question(s): What Coding Certification do you hold?
