Customer satisfaction, long-term relationships, and offering quality coverage at competitive prices are central to the agency’s culture.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Insurance Producer role based in Poplar Grove, IL. The Licensed Insurance Producer will build and maintain a book of business by identifying prospects, conducting needs assessments, and recommending appropriate personal, commercial, and employee benefits coverage. Responsibilities include preparing quotes, presenting proposals, and processing new business, renewals, and policy changes in a timely and accurate manner. The role involves providing proactive customer service, responding to inquiries, assisting clients with claims, and advocating on their behalf with carriers. The Licensed Insurance Producer will also be expected to maintain detailed records in the agency management system, stay current on carrier products and industry regulations, and participate in networking or community outreach to develop new client relationships.Qualifications Proficiency in Insurance Sales and insurance product knowledge (e.g., personal lines, commercial lines, Employee Benefits) to advise clients and close new business.Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, explain coverage options clearly, and resolve questions or issues promptly.Active state insurance producer license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe) in applicable lines of authority.Experience in an agency, brokerage, or related insurance environment preferred, with familiarity in working with multiple carriers and quoting platforms.Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate documentation and follow-through.Comfort with basic office software and agency management systems; willingness to learn new tools and processes.High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to client advocacy and long-term relationship building.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
