Role Overview Trevco is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Apparel & Licensed Product Artist to support our rapidly growing collegiate and sports business. This role will be responsible for creating original, license-compliant artwork across apparel and select hardline categories, with a strong focus on scalability, brand integrity, and commercial performance. The ideal candidate has a strong design foundation, a sharp eye for typography and layout, and experience working within licensed brand systems. This artist will play a key role in expanding Trevco’s creative footprint across major universities, athletic programs, and sports properties. Key Responsibilities Develop original, on-trend artwork for collegiate and sports licenses across apparel and other key product categories Execute designs that align with school brand standards, licensing guidelines, and partner requirements Create production-ready art files optimized for various decoration methods (screen print, embroidery, digital print, etc.) Adapt and extend core creative concepts across multiple product types, colorways, and placements Collaborate closely with licensing, product development, and production teams to ensure accuracy and speed to market Revise and refine artwork based on internal feedback and licensor approvals Maintain organized art files and follow established workflows for versioning, naming, and archival Stay current on collegiate, sports, and apparel design trends to proactively drive new creative directions Support high-volume production needs while maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 2–5+ years of experience in apparel design, licensed products, or sports/collegiate creative preferred Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop required) Excellent typography, layout, and composition skills Experience designing for apparel and understanding decoration constraints Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand and licensing guidelines precisely Self-starter with strong communication and collaboration skills Nice-to-Have Experience Prior experience working with collegiate, professional sports, or licensed brands Familiarity with embroidery digitization and/or print-on-demand workflows Experience creating scalable art systems for large assortments Knowledge of eCommerce or marketplace-driven product creation Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic data organization, filtering, and collaboration with cross-functional teams Why Trevco Work on a massive and growing portfolio of collegiate and sports licenses Create artwork that reaches millions of fans across major retail and eCommerce platforms Collaborate with a highly experienced, fast-moving team Opportunity to shape creative direction across new categories and partnerships Competitive compensation and benefits Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Vision insurance Work Location: Remote
