Golf Shop Associate

Golf Shop Associate We are preparing for our busy Spring season and currently hiring for a part-time or full-time golf shop associate. To fulfill our members’ and guests’ expectations and to continue providing a high level of professional customer service, we need to add to our current golf operations team. This is a year-round position that is customer service centered with focus on golf shop sales. This position reports directly to the Director of Golf. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: - Work and communicate closely with outside service staff, management, and maintenance team. - Manage the golf reservation system and tee sheet schedule following all procedures for golfer check-in and payment processes. - Greet members and guests by name - Monitor golf shop activity and organize merchandise throughout the shift - Notify the Golf Shop Manager of any low stock items or items in demand to enhance the retail shopping experience. - Assist guests with shopping needs, provide suggestions and have knowledge of the product. - Assist with rental equipment preparation and check-out processes, communicating rentals with outside service staff on duty. - Manage phone system fielding calls as needed. - Communicate day-of cancellations, modifications, and additions to the tee sheet with outside staff in a consistent and professional manner. - Respond to and field incoming member and guest emails. - Be knowledgeable of all upcoming golf events and applicable pricing and manage multiple golf event sign-up sheets. - Maintain a clear customer database within ForeUP software, merging accounts when needed, tagging appropriately, and completing all information fields. - Provide input to management as needed to improve overall golf operation efficiency and customer experience. - Complete standard opening and/or closing duties Please note: The responsibilities and activities listed above may change at any time.
