This role blends litigation and counseling, providing the opportunity to defend employment claims while also advising clients on day-to-day employment issues.You will work on matters in courts and before administrative forums, while partnering with management teams on compliance, risk mitigation, and strategic decision-making. The role offers meaningful responsibility early in your career, including hands-on litigation exposure and direct involvement in client-facing advisory work.ResponsibilitiesRepresent employers in employment-related litigation and administrative proceedingsDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documentsConduct legal research and analyze complex employment law issuesManage discovery, including document review, written discovery, and depositionsParticipate in hearings, mediations, and dispute resolution processesAdvise clients on employment-related issues, including workplace policies and employee relationsAssist with compliance guidance and risk assessment related to employment lawsCollaborate with attorneys on litigation strategy and case developmentQualifications2 to 5 years of labor and employment or general litigation experienceExperience handling employment-related disputes or advising management on employment mattersFamiliarity with litigation processes, including discovery and motion practicePrior experience in a law firm environment preferredStrong academic background and demonstrated commitment to employment lawRequirementsLicensed to practice law and in good standing in the jurisdiction you will practiceExcellent writing, research, and analytical skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to interact directly with clientsAbility to manage multiple matters and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyInterested in hearing more?
