Quality Control / Site Safety Specialist - Travel

Quality Control Site Safety Specialist Travel This position is with a long-established, employee-owned general contractor that delivers large-scale commercial, institutional, and federal projects across the East Coast. Quality Control Perform daily quality inspections in assigned discipline(s) to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and contract documents. Identify discrepancies, risks, and non-conforming work through daily site walks. Document inspections and findings using company-approved procedures and software. Assist in coordinating required testing, commissioning, and system verifications. Support quality-related protocols, qualifications, and validation documentation. Participate in coordination meetings with trades, engineers, and field leadership. Safety Support site safety programs in collaboration with field leadership. Identify hazards and help monitor mitigation plans. Contribute to onsite environmental compliance documentation and reporting. Assist with impact assessments, safety audits, and incident prevention strategies. General Duties Maintain strict adherence to federal and project-specific QC/Safety standards. Provide technical support to site teams, subcontractors, and engineering staff. Represent the company with professionalism and attention to detail. Perform additional assignments as directed by project leadership. Mechanical Pathway Mechanical engineering with 4+ years relevant experience OR Construction manager / engineering technician with ICC Mechanical Inspector certification and 5+ years experience Required ICC Certifications may include: Commercial Mechanical Inspector Commercial Plumbing Inspector Commercial Fire Alarm Inspector Commercial Fire Sprinkler Inspector Commercial Energy Inspector/Plans Examiner (ASHRAE 90.1) Architecture Pathway Architecture with 4+ in similar construction environments. Commercial Building Inspector Pathway ICC certificates: Commercial Building Inspector Commercial Electrical Inspector Commercial Mechanical Inspector Commercial Plumbing Inspector Commercial Fire Alarm Inspector Commercial Fire Protection Inspector Commercial Energy Inspector/Plans Examiner (ASHRAE 90.1) Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000.
