ELR HL7 Interface Analyst - Remote

Complete ELR onboarding using HL7 2.5.1 standards · Provide input on and manage various production monitoring tasks including alerts, dashboard development and maintenance, and issue identification. · Complete investigation of ELR processing issues independently and identify proposed solutions. · Work collaboratively with Rhapsody developers to enhance existing routes or define new routes for ELR processing. · Assist with processing of laboratory data submitted via our alternate file format (i.e., flat file). · Coordinate routine and ad hoc management of standard interoperability vocabulary within the disease surveillance system. · Act as liaison to downstream users of ELR data within TDH and CEDEP. · Support other ELR maintenance tasks (e.g parallel validation, LOINC code assignments, and production errors). Desired Qualifications: · Work experience with ELR onboarding and/or maintenance at a state or local health department, 1-3 years. · Work experience with Rhapsody or working to define specifications for Rhapsody developers, 1-3 years. · Experience writing statistical and analytical programming code in SAS,SQL, or R. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Demonstrated ability to manage projects.
