Lead Teacher

The Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for implementing the AEA curriculum and engagingin developmentally appropriate activities in a nurturing classroom environment. The teacher willinspire young minds, fostering a love for learning. Collaborate with a supportive team to create apositive and enriching educational experience. Conduct Assessments of children to indicategrowth and areas of improvement and formal meetings with parents. Teachers must understand Amazing Explorers Academy policies, procedures, and expectations.Responsibilities Maintain classroom appearance, cleanliness, and safety Complete necessary paperwork: daily notes, accident reports, attendance Attend staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings Supervise and assist children during activities Provide counseling for social, academic, or adjustment issues Plan and implement lesson plans, programs, and schedules Prepare instructional aids/materials Assist with meal times and cleanup Ensure equipment is in good condition and used properly Arrange the classroom for well-defined interest areas Direct other staff in maintaining order Communicate with parents and maintain developmental profiles Schedule and conduct parent/teacher conferences Manage classroom bulletin boards and family information board Follow the medication schedule Perform assigned dutiesQualificationsMust be at least 21 years oldCDA or higher in Early childhood education/45 hours trainingClassroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facilityPleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personalityHighly professional and dependable
