OTX Fintech Staffing - Legal Division seeks a Complex Commercial Litigation Associate with 4–8 years of post-JD experience to join award-winning Securities Litigation, Arbitration, Regulation and Investigations group in Madison, NJ. You'll defend Fortune 500 financial institutions in high-stakes commercial litigation — this is a rare opportunity to do sophisticated bank-side work at a firm whose specialty practice was named NJ Law Journal Litigation Department of the Year in 2020, with a real partnership track from within.What will you be doing?Defending banks and financial institutions in lender liability, commercial finance, consumer finance (FDCPA/TILA/RESPA), and securities litigation in NJ state and federal courtsManaging full-lifecycle litigation: pleadings, discovery, depositive motions, depositions, and trial preparationHandling parallel regulatory matters (CFPB, OCC, DOBI) that intersect with active litigationWorking directly with partners who lead bank-side practices for Fortune 500 clientsContributing to business development with origination bonus opportunitiesThis position is for former in-house counsel out of JPMC, Goldman Sachs, MS, BoA, UBS, Deutsche Bank, Wells Fargo, TD, or law firm with NJ presence in financial services litigationKey RequirementsBank-side (defense) financial services litigation as your primary practice area — not generalist commercial lit with occasional bank mattersSubstantive litigation responsibility including depositions and motion practice (not just document review)JD with strong law school GPA; active NJ bar or ability to waive inOn-site Morristown, NJ - 3 days hybrid model
