Cigar and Wine Bar/Restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Detroit Michigan, near campus Martius. We are looking for Bartenders/ Servers/ Kitchen staff. Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at [DID IT MY WAY]. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Duties: - Prepare and serve drinks according to recipes and customer preferences. - Manage cash handling and operate a cash register with accuracy. - Maintain a thorough knowledge of drink recipes and ingredients. - Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed. - Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons. - Utilize a Point-of-Sale (POS) system to process transactions efficiently. - Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety guidelines. - Manage time effectively, ensuring prompt service and efficient handling of multiple orders. - Demonstrate a strong understanding of the food industry, including knowledge of menu items and ingredients. - Promote the sale of food and beverages, using upselling techniques to increase revenue. - Stay up-to-date on drink trends and offer recommendations to customers. - Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accurate orders and a positive dining experience. Requirements: - Experience in the food service industry, preferably in bartending. - Proficiency in handling cash and operating a cash register. - Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math. - Strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of food safety and handling practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude. - A passion for bartending and a desire to continually improve your skills.
