ASSISTANT FOUNDRY MANAGER

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bensenville, IL, for an Assistant Foundry Manager. The Assistant Foundry Manager will oversee daily foundry operations under the training of Foundry Manager, collaborate with team members to improve processes, and ensure optimal production efficiency. Responsibilities include supervising metal casting processes, assisting with process integration, troubleshooting operational challenges, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The role also involves supporting team management, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring adherence to production schedules.QualificationsExperience in Foundry Management and general foundry supervisionKnowledge of Metal Castings and related methodsUnderstanding of Process Integration and optimization in scheduling productionExpertise in the Casting processesStrong organizational and leadership skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work on-site in a hands-on capacityExperience in a manufacturing or metalworkingBachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Engineering, Material Science Foundry Management or a related field is preferred
