Adecco is searching for qualified a Material Planner in Warren, MA! This opportunity can be Direct-Hire or Temp-To-Hire, depending on interview, experience and other factors.Hours: Business hours, Monday-Friday (can be flexible)Pay: $80,000-$85,000 DOEJob Duties:Providing inputs to the forecast and master schedule within capacity constraints, and in support of the operating plan, to achieve on-time shipments to customersReview, prepare, and communicate shortages for tracking and completion date targets with Manufacturing, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering.Provide inputs and feedback to Management to drive updates of schedule attainment problems with Supply Chain from causes such as vendor shortages and customer changes.Provide inputs to Management to manage the schedule for various groups within the Division to ensure sequencing of OEM pump, OEM valve, aftermarket parts, and repairsWork with Production Management, Supply Chain Management, Sales Management and Site Leadership to update the master schedule and 30/90/91+ forecast to ensure the plan is tracking to the perpetual internal and external needs of market demandSupport and expand on all opportunities to level load the plan to drive improvements in inventory, fulfillment, cycle time, capacity management and growthUtilize ERP system and other tools to manage material flow and work prioritizationIdentify and manage project dependencies and critical path.Schedule project timeliness and milestones using appropriateProvide strong interface between Supply Chain, Finance, Production and Site Leadership to reduce all costs and cycle times to determine line rates, including 30/90/91+ planning horizonsREQUIREMENTSKnowledge Skills & AbilitiesStrong MRP and Projectized MRP skills and disciplinesStrong knowledge of ERP Systems, preferably IFS ERP Apps 7 and higherStrong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and/or Access) to analyze data and trends.Previous experience with shortage generation/tracking, capacity planning, inventory management and procurementExcellent interpersonal communication and listening ability.A strong ability to be adaptable and flexible.Strong analytical and decision-making skills.Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment.Highly motivated, results oriented, driven.Must demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem solving skillsExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsEducation & ExperienceA minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or Management/Operations is required, Masters/MBA preferred or equivalent work experience5+ years progressive experience in Scheduling/Planning ERP Systems is mandatory, 10 years preferredIf you are interested, please apply with your updated resume!
