Acquisition Analyst

Apogee is seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst located at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL in support of Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics’ (SOF AT&L) Directorate of Science & Technology. What you will be doing: Apply knowledge of DoD policy, directives, and instructions associated with the FY22 SBIR/STTR Reauthorization Act Section 4 (Foreign Risk Management) and Section 6 (Adversarial Military and Foreign Influence) to USSOCOM's SBIR/STTR program Align business intelligence reports and business case analysis of small business submissions to USSOCOM's SBIR/STTR program Develop and maintain draft policy, processes, and procedures for USSOCOM SBIR/STTR programs Analyze small businesses' cybersecurity practices, patents, intellectual property rights, employees, and foreign influence using Publicly Available Information (PAI) Provide Government managers informed guidance and applicable courses of action with respect to identified risks Participate in program IPTs to provide decision-quality information on risks and mitigation Coordinate and staff security "due diligence" reviews with appropriate agencies such as service SBIR/STTR offices, USSOCOM J2X, USD (R&E), and the Air Force Office of Commercial and Economic Assessment (AF OCEA) Submit and coordinate releasability reviews and support classification determinations Submit and maintain various internal/external databases associated with security due diligence Coordinate/educate Small Business Concerns' ability to address and mitigate identified risks Develop, submit, and coordinate input to contracting documents in support of security due diligence and other SBIR/STTR related issues Support various presentations, briefings, and information papers addressing SBIR/STTR initiatives in general and security due diligence specifically Minimum Experience: Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility Certifications: DAWIA Advanced (formerly Level III) Equivalency in Program Management, Engineering & Technical Management, or Testing & Evaluation fields Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or STEM Years of Experience: 10 years of DoD acquisition support for a Program Management Office 5 years of experience in Industrial Security, Business Risk Management, or Security Due Diligence Preferred Experience: Education: Master’s degree in business, finance, or STEM Years of Experience: 10 years of DoD acquisition support for a Program Management Office 3 years of experience with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Benefits: Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with an HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military, and jury duty paid leaves.
