The technician will also execute all test procedures and complete quality documentation as needed for new and repair assemblies.Assembles machines and sub-assemblies based on the engineering specification, following all work instructionsPrepares work to be accomplished by assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materialsVerifies specifications by inspecting/measuring completed component as a part of the pre-assembly checkResolves assembly problems to meet specifications; notifying team lead to obtain additional resourcesMaintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; notify team lead for placing and expediting orders for suppliesDocuments actions by completing production and quality forms neatlyContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededAssemble main and sub assembly in a timely manner to ensure it passes final test protocol as per quality documentsOther duties as necessaryLocationShelby Township, MIRequirementsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Able to sit or stand for 8 - 10 hours a dayHigh School Diploma or GED Manufacturing Experience, extra emphasis on hydraulic assembly Skilled with mechanics, hand, and power tool operations Ability to read, write and perform basic mathAbility to read engineering prints and work instructions Safety & Quality Focus Basic computer and office 365 knowledge Solid judgment and decision making Full time positionMust be able to work Monday – Friday 6:00AM – 4:30PM (10 hours)Overtime as neededADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:SafetyMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsFollow all safety requirements to avoid injury to self and fellow employeesCreate and maintain a safe work environment; repair and/or report non-conformances to company safety policies and guidelinesPerform the necessary safety requirements to avoid injury to self and fellow employeesWork-EnvironmentUn-air-conditioned manufacturing facility with good air qualityOur commitment to Diversity, Equity and Belonging (DEB) endeavors to create a safe space for all employees and customers, regardless of age, race, sex, gender identity, national origin, or religion.
