Library Aide
Under the direction of a Principal or designee, perform technical library functions in an assigned elementary school library; organize, distribute and store library and audio-visual materials; check books and materials in and out at the circulation desk; process and shelve library materials and textbooks; assist students and staff in the selection and
requisitioning of library materials; and assures timely distribution of board-approved textbooks and coordinates financial aspects of textbook procurement.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Associates Degree or 48 units with C or better from an accredited college.
Previous experience working in a library is desirable.
