Strategic Sourcing Analyst
Position Details:Title: Strategic Sourcing Analyst ContractorLocation: Malvern, PA (Hybrid)Duration: 6 Months with possible extensionPay Rate: $50–$55/hour on W2Job Summary;we are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Analyst Contractor to support Enterprise Supply Management (ESM) by managing medium-complexity sourcing engagements and driving competitive procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing sourcing strategies, managing RFx processes, negotiating contracts, and partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining compliance with procurement policies and best practices.Key Responsibilities;Manage a pipeline of medium-complexity sourcing engagements valued at over $250K within assigned categories.Support Category Leads on high-complexity sourcing initiatives and assist with requisition and purchase order creation.Lead end-to-end sourcing and competitive bidding (RFx) processes.Develop and execute negotiation strategies to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and create sourcing documentation.Collaborate with Category Management, Supplier Management, Vendor Management, Legal, Risk, and TPRM teams.Ensure adherence to fair business practices and procurement policies.Manage sourcing activities including renewals, new deals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and supplier agreements.Facilitate supplier consolidation, co-terming initiatives, and evaluation agreements.Ensure smooth handoff of completed transactions to Purchasing, Contracting, and Accounts Payable teams.Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to departmental initiatives.Support special projects and other sourcing-related activities as assigned.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.5+ years of general business experience.5+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, or contract negotiation experience.Experience managing RFx processes and supplier negotiations.Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle and sourcing best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Experience working with financial systems and e-commerce platforms.Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting enterprise-level sourcing and procurement operations.Knowledge of supplier management, vendor management, and third-party risk management processes.Experience handling contracts, renewals, and sourcing engagements across multiple categories.Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
