*Job Summary* Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our logistics and distribution operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of inventory, managing shipping and receiving processes, and supporting order fulfillment with precision and efficiency. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, inventory control, and logistics operations while contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. *Responsibilities* * Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to track inventory levels, process orders, and update records accurately. * Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using order picker equipment, pallet jacks, and other tools to ensure timely delivery. * Load and unload shipments safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols. * Conduct inventory counts and manage stock levels through inventory management software to prevent shortages or overstock situations. * Assist with shipping logistics by preparing shipping labels, verifying shipment details, and coordinating with carriers for timely pickups. * Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment. * Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for stock or order information and supporting trade compliance with international trade regulations when necessary. *Experience* * Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred but not required; training will be provided. * Familiarity with warehouse operations including stocking, packaging, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving is highly desirable. * Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (such as AS400 or similar ERP systems) along with Microsoft Office tools for data entry and reporting. * Basic math skills necessary for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations related to order fulfillment. * Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely; certification is a plus. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and order processing. * Knowledge of logistics principles including shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is advantageous.
