Warehouse Associate

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, inventory control, and logistics operations while contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. *Responsibilities* * Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to track inventory levels, process orders, and update records accurately. * Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using order picker equipment, pallet jacks, and other tools to ensure timely delivery. * Load and unload shipments safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols. * Conduct inventory counts and manage stock levels through inventory management software to prevent shortages or overstock situations. * Assist with shipping logistics by preparing shipping labels, verifying shipment details, and coordinating with carriers for timely pickups. * Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment. * Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for stock or order information and supporting trade compliance with international trade regulations when necessary. *Experience* * Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred but not required; training will be provided. * Familiarity with warehouse operations including stocking, packaging, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving is highly desirable. * Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (such as AS400 or similar ERP systems) along with Microsoft Office tools for data entry and reporting. * Basic math skills necessary for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations related to order fulfillment. * Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely; certification is a plus. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and order processing. * Knowledge of logistics principles including shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is advantageous.
