This role is responsible for writing, designing, and distributing materials such as press releases, newsletters, email campaigns, and social media content, as well as coordinating virtual and in-person events. The position also supports public relations efforts, maintains digital media archives, and promotes agency programs through presentations and strategic messaging Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following Writes, designs, and provides layout for new releases, newsletters, brochures, pamphlets and other informational materials and arranges for distribution, including managing KCAIC social media Writes, designs, and provides layout for new releases, newsletters, brochures, pamphlets, email campaigns, and other informational materials and arranges for distribution Lays out and designs informational material by taking photographs, creating illustrations, proofreading, and making arrangements for printing to prepare pamphlets, brochures and other materials. Leverages analytics and reports to determine effectiveness and seeks continual improvements of marketing and communication initiatives. Coordinates with staff to produce and run public facing webinars, panel meetings, public meetings, and other virtual and in- person events. Maintains digital media archives including photos and videos. Creates and makes presentations on KCAIC programming Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Four years of experience in arts administration, music, visual arts, dance, theater, traditional arts, media arts, journalism, communications public relations or graphic design. Two years of experience conveying information and analysis through composition of reports, articles, manuals and making formal presentations or archiving a common understanding or solution when there is dissension.
