Quality Engineer
Primary Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, ASTM, and customer quality requirementsMaintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and related documentationLead internal, process, and product audits and support customer and third-party auditsAnalyze quality data, trends, Nonconformance Reports (NCRs), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CPARs) to drive improvementsCollaborate with operations, engineering, and suppliers to support continuous improvement and cost reductionJob DutiesDevelop and maintain quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and formsConduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA/DFMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and process capability studiesManage calibration programs, Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gauge R&R), and inspection equipmentInvestigate product and process nonconformities and validate corrective and preventive actionsDevelop inspection methods for receiving, in-process, and final product checksSupport training initiatives and maintain training records and matrix accuracyParticipate in Management of Change (MOC) and risk assessment activitiesComply with all safety requirements and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Up to 10% domestic travel may be required; this position is onsiteThis position does not support remote workEducation And QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline requiredMust be located in the Tulsa, OK area or within a reasonable commuting distance; this is an onsite positionMinimum of 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, including experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)Previous experience with fiberglass manufacturing is preferredWorking knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and/or API Q1 standards preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, etc.) preferredASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification preferredVeterans WelcomeAt NOV Fiberglass Systems, we value the dedication, discipline, and skills that military veterans bring to the workforce.
