Our mission is to ensure the safety and reliability of every vehicle we service, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.About the RoleThe role involves diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair various vehicle systems including brakes, steering, electrical, cooling, transmissions, and drive trains.Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, D.O.T inspections, and fluid top-ups.Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot engine and system malfunctions.Handle repairs and replacements of components like radiators, alternators, turbochargers, sensors, starters, DPF systems, and HVAC systems.Undertake bodywork, including painting and interior maintenance such as seat and cabinet replacements.Manage fifth wheel repairs, rebuilds, and transmission work, including clutches, drive shafts, and axle shafts.Maintain clear communication with management regarding repair statuses, safety issues, and parts inventory.Ensure vehicles are maintained according to factory specifications and comply with all federal and state DOT regulations.Conduct test drives to verify the effectiveness of repairs and respond to road calls for on-site repairs as needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in automotive repair is preferred.Required SkillsProficient in diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems.Experience with diagnostic software and tools.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills.Preferred SkillsASE certification or equivalent.Experience with heavy-duty vehicles.Knowledge of federal and state DOT regulations.Pay range and compensation packageCompetitive pay based on experience, along with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.Equal Opportunity StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
