PLC Software Engineer

This role will support controls development, work with vendors, understand architecture/function blocks, and a suitable engineer will comfortably work within a global controls team. They will support project delivery, software/control logic discussions, and programming. The role combines duties to be carried out remotely, such as programming support and development, and onsite/travel duties including SAT’s, machine testing and vendor coordination. *Key Requirements:* * Minimum 3 years' experience with CodeSys or Beckhoff programming * Strong background in PLC programming and software development * Proven track record in industrial automation systems * Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) * Strong understanding of automation components and industrial hardware * Experience in HMI design and WebVisu visualization * Python programming skills beneficial (not essential) for scripting, automation, AI-related tasks, and software problem solving *What You'll Bring:* * Expertise in developing and implementing PLC-based control solutions (ST Programming) * Capability to design and implement user-friendly HMI interfaces * Experience integrating various automation components and systems * Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and field devices * Strong Python programming abilities for automation applications * Problem-solving mindset and analytical approach * Ability to work independently and as part of a team #RTS6548 (Hybrid role: 50% on-site, 50% remote) Pay: $85.00 - $125.00 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in Seattle, WA
