The LPN can also be seen as support between Registered Nurses and Therapeutic Program Workers (CNA/STNA) on the unit.Completion of physician orders; assist with exams, treatments & collect specimens as needed; administer medication including controlled substancesObserves & documents residents' condition in Point-Click-Care system, reports to medical teamCreate other necessary reports (e.g., progress notes, care plans, monthly summaries)Provides general nursing and direct care to residents such as assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, assisting with ambulation, range of motion, etc.May escort and support residents at medical appointments or recreational activitiesAssists with redirecting unsafe actions to bring about positive outcomesApplies safety & infection control measuresProvide assistance (e.g., work direction, training, etc.) to Therapeutic Program Workers (STNA) as assignedAttend team meetings, trainings, etc.All other duties as assignedHelpful TipsApplication Procedures:To be considered for this position, you must apply on-line through this posting website.
