Night Resident Advisor

Job Corps Springdale. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Portland, OR, for a Night Resident Advisor. The Night Resident Advisor will oversee the safety and security of the premises during night hours, provide assistance to residents as needed, and address emergency situations promptly and effectively. Responsibilities may include monitoring facility access, conducting nightly checks, handling incidents, completing documentation, and maintaining a supportive and respectful environment for residents. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with residents and respond to their needs effectivelyProblem-solving, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention skills to handle emergencies and challenging situationsAbility to work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and maintain professionalism in all interactionsFamiliarity with safety procedures, security protocols, and experience managing facility accessExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail for completing reports and documentation accuratelyFlexible schedule availability to work night shifts and adapt to changing work requirementsExperience in community service, social work, or residential support is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in first aid or crisis management are beneficial
