Catering Server - Part Time

Responsible for prompt, efficient, and courteous service of food and beverages to banquet and casino guests in accordance with venue and/or promotion/event standards.Ensure each station is ready for guests' arrival in accordance with Banquet Event Order.Knowledge of all event specification and details in accordance with Banquet Event Order.Complete knowledge of all menu items and how each item is prepared.Monitor guests' needs on a continual basis and ensure all requests are promptly fulfilled.General knowledge of operations at HCPN in order to answer guest inquiries regarding racing, slots, wagering, etc.Keep work area neat and clean in accordance with all PA Department of Health standards.Restock assigned station at end of shift and have ready for start of next shift.Ensure all necessary pre-shift/post-shift side work is completed daily.Attendance at any pre-shift meetings.Participate as a team member with all servers, bartenders, and any other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations.Responsible for maintaining a regular and consistent attendance record.High School Diploma/GED;1-2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.Ability to operate POS Systems.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
