Role: -Java Software EngineerLocation:-100% RemoteDuration:-Long term ProjectRequired /Desired Skills: Java Skills - recent versionSNMPSoftware ModulesFrequency Converter experience preferredMIB FileBlock ConvertersSatellite communication systems background a plusJob Description: Development of SNMP V1 interface software moduleModification of existing software to support current featuresProject to be written in Java that uses SNMP librarySW InterfacingLog tasks software module for an embedded computerSNMP fields need to be implemented to match a specification MIB file (existing base MIB file can be used as a starting point) Compare files and use Block Converter for required additional features that must be implementedThe developed software must be provided in the form of well-documented source code in a computer compatible format, with run-time libraries and executable filesProvide documentation, an electronic copy of all documents describing SDLC (software development cycle), including user, maintenance, and operation manualsCreate a slide deck for customer review, RE: deliverables schedule and progress, software design description, test verification plan, any testing performed to-date with results, any issues and actions to resolve problems and maintain scheduleMust be able to work independentlyWork in collaboration with engineering team to complete projectReport to VP of EngineeringMust pass a background check and sign an NDA
